My dear readers,
Thank you to all of you guys who have a genuine interest in my blog. As I said, I am analysing every day the traffic of the blog, It is growing and more specifically growing in interest. Visitors are staying and are taking the time to read these long articles. What it tells me is that there are still some people out there who are smart and want to know about their mind, people who want to improve and spend some time on theirselves to learn some precious knowledge that could help them in practical life. It relieves me and makes me so proud to write for you.
Some studies show that it takes 21 days to change a pattern in your routine. We all have a routine, we get up in the morning, we have our rituals, go to work, come back, get a shower etc...and it's amazing how this routine is taking over us, it is taking over your mind , over your desires and motivation. It is very difficult to break these patterns, bringing new things in your mind everyday is a real challenge, our routine is somehow a warm comfort zone but it is a lot to do with absence of present awareness and consciousness. In fact, the reason why we get caught in the routine is because we 're not really there, our mind and body enters its automatic mode if we don't get control consciously.
JB Glossinger likes to relate the story of the guy who gets up each morning telling to himself " I have to make the donuts today " in a very unmotivated ton, he will make its donuts then come back at night and sleep.
Question : Is this the kind of life you want ?
You can not get rid of a routine but you certainly can control this routine so that it plays in your favor. The average person will go to work every day, come back , sit on the couch, turn the TV on, have dinner, watch TV again, go on facebook or social sites then go to bed...
An Awaken person will get up, think about today's goals, go to work, go to the gym, work on a business plan for his short term future, review goals, think and browse the web looking for opportunity to make some extra business revenue, plan his next day, write a journal then go to bed.
Now who do you think will have the best life experiences and live a fuller life ?
Everytime I meet a successful or happy person I always try to pay a particular attention to their routine and 95 % of the time I do discover that they have an empowering routine for them. They don't just sit on the couch after work waiting for the next day to come but they do things that the average person wouldn't do. By moving the boat regularly 1 % everyday, you are moving yourself. After 100 days the boat will move with you and it will make the difference. The people who stayed on their couch will not be on this boat and you will just hear them moaning and crying for excuses... remember we all have 24 hrs in a day and each one choose what we do with them.
Tip of the day :
Get a planning, book some time to do empowering tasks in your routine, it will attract momentum, the law of attraction will start to take effect before you know it. First get rid of the toxic, it can be turning on your computer directly coming from work to twitter, calling your friend for 1 hr, playing video games ... these type of minor actions can be absolutely destructive for you in a routine, on a regular day to day basis.
Once got rid of these toxic things, then wait a few days and start to replace them by empowering actions ( writing a blog, learning 1 hr everyday about how to build a website, 20 minutes meditation before sleeping, everyday consult job opportunities for 30 minutes ...) here again ur choice, you certainly know what is empowering for you. Done everyday over a long term and in repetition, this will manifest and generate a massive result, massive reward and your personnality will start to change, people will start asking you about your positive changes. A big shot is little shots that keep shooting. I am always amazed about this people who are always busy with all kind of things, they receive emails, offers, phone calls, they need to go there and there. They have to create this an that for someone, they got an appointment next week there ... do you know what ? they are the people who managed to create themselves a good routine, they did not sit on the couch after work.
You definitely need to relax, take some time for you to do nothing, it is also very important but keep in mind that by changing little things in your routine, you will make big differences and will enjoy the journey ! live a full life.
