Today JayM says :

We have abundance all around us, and yet some people concentrate on how "little" we have. If you look at nature, the sky above us, the grains of sand, everything was made in abundance.

Labels

Hello dear readers,

I spent such a good day at the beach today. After arriving in a quite disappointing place where we could not really see any interest to stay, we decided to continue a bit further down this ugly and rocky beach with a hope. After climbing some reefs, sliding on some downhills and a bit more efforts we discovered true paradise. A genuine little deserted beach hidden from everything was waiting for us behind these reefs. It was like a discovery of wonder, a land of heaven with sand and even a little waterfall. This showed us that you don 't have to be lured and discouraged by the first appearance of things, 95 % of people would go back and just find another place but by continuing our way and showing some hope and efforts we found this heaven hidden from everybody. Be persistent and curious, don't get discouraged and you will be rewarded. Nice life lesson here !

Today, I want to talk about labels and the way that we humans have a tendency to close ourselves into boxes labeling each things, each individuals and limiting our true potential. I don 't know why we have this habit of thinking that we cannot be a multiple of things, do multiple different things and live completely different life experiences in our lives. I have always been against labels, it is not in my nature to think that because this person is a house builder, he cannot have been to school or have money. If this other individual is fat then he must be unhappy, if you are rich then you are probably selfish and heartless ... etc. I simply hate this, we cannot categorize things like this or we will only see the iceberg above the sea and never under. So many people have more to offer than their first appearance and than the label you put them into. Just don' t label things, it is not because this man drives this car that he has to be this type of man, go deeper into things and you will be rewarded. People put labels as they want to reassure themselves and feel confident that they know their world, this is why just a few of us reach greatness, we are afraid to walk blind in an great unknown world with no labels and we prefer to walk with our own eyes within a small limited world with labels.

On a more personal level, self labeling is also very limiting. I always say that if you put yourself in a box, you will need to think out of the box to get better. The solution is not to put you in this box...be different each day, think about yourself differently, include different things not related to each other... if you tell yourself, I am a salesman, you are limiting yourself to be a salesman and its characteristics, if you say I am a young doctor, you will act and think only as a young doctor. The idea behind my point is not to close and label yourself with anything. You are not young, old, salesman, teacher, selfish , poor, rich, blond, sporty etc... you are YOU, and the you can be everything, do anything and think unlimited. An example is that a teacher who will see himself as a teacher will not use its 100 days holidays a year to work on its passion, build a personal business or write a book... he will tell himself " I m a teacher, I am not an entrepreneur or a writer and he will limit all his real potential.

Very important notion to keep in mind here for you and your world. Make yourself this favor, show open mind and don't Label people or things !

Until then, I wish you a great evening !

Bye...

happiness is personnal...money overrated !

My dear readers,

Just back on the blog after 1 month of rest, deep thinking and introspection. I would like to sincerely apologize for the readers who were maybe expecting a continue flow from when I started. You know, I always said that I cannot write when I ' m not well in my head because it 's easy to deviate from the real message. The last few weeks were shaky for me and I had the feeling to be on a small rusty boat sailing through the middle of a sea storm, unsure if I would make it through. I am fine now and I certainly know what I want. It is part of life to ask yourself questions because if you don't, you take the risk to be driven by others.

I believe that money, Material possessions and careers are overrated when it comes to live a full life. What counts is to live the lifestyle you always wanted inside. I know that some of you will say " yes but my lifestyle is to have a lot of money, cars and material "... and I will tell you no problems my friend, I do enjoy all this myself too, driving nice cars and feeling comfortable with money is pleasant and you should not deny this or it will never come. What is wrong is to believe that all of this is an end by itself. Our Society has based success on these wrong pillars. So many of us find themselves on the wrong path because they are where they are for money or power. They are followers because they never ask themselves the right questions to evaluate whether they really created their lives. If you had all the money in the world, what would you do ? the same as today ? I doubt it. Then re-evaluate this and maybe you could adjust and get closer to it. Living the life that others have designed for you is accepting defeat. If you feel that you are happy just looking for the money and material then fine, don't change it, as I said happiness is personal and it can really be your thing. Most of the time though, it will never  create a productive pattern and can be self destructive. I believe that passion and wisdom are bedrocks of a full life, money is energy that can be compared as a car :  it will drive you faster to your point but you don' t really need it, you can walk. Also if you use it wrongly you will crash.

I will finish with this story of 2 Mexican guys who spend their days enjoying fishing in front of their lake, one day the first one tells the other

_ what if we open a big company and sell a lot of fishes of all kind... and so we would have a mega industry with big boats going all over the oceans to bring the best fishes and we would get rich and so we would be free  and could fish whenever we want together...

_ Fishing whenever we want ? This is what we already do ! finishes the other...

I think it is true, sometimes we look for a lot of  paths and ways to get rich, happy complicating our existing life to bring the same result as we could enjoy just now. Others are driving you and tell you that you need this and that if you want success and happiness, these people will tell you what it is to live your life happy...insane. You can reply " You know, Everybody is different but apparently you are not ; ) "

You take care my friends.
